Histomorphologische Beurteilung und Immunophänotypisierung von Zellpopulationen


The project Z3 provides central histopathological support to all projects of the SFB 421. Main focus will be the characterization of the various mouse models including newly generated mice that have not been phenotyped previously. Analysis of murine or human tissue in vivo is part of most projects including A15, B6, B7, B11, B13, B15, C4, C9, C10, C12 and C13. All histomorphological methods (i.e. conventional stainings, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization) will be available to the projects. Standardized scoring schemes for the evaluation of inflammatory changes will be applied or new schemes developed when required. Finally, high-quality digital images of the data will be generated and transfered electronically to the members of the respective research groups.
